Limited Edition Colors!
June 7th, 2007 by Bill - G2I was lucky enough to see the pre-production tests this morning for the new Limited Edition Colors we are getting ready to launch and I have to say… It’s a great day to work at G2 if you are a Mustang fan! Because the three new colors are based on the New Mustang!
So for those of you who are lucky enough to own a 2005 - 2008 Mustang in Legend Lime (That’s right I’m talking about you Legend Lime Registry members at the AllFordMustangs.com Forums), Wind Veil Blue or Red Fire can now paint your calipers to match your Stang!
There is no solid release date as of yet, but I have to tell you the new colors are hot! If I’m right all three should be through pre-production and ready for market by the end of June. Check back and I’ll keep you updated as to the actual release date.
I’m going to try to sneak out back and snap a couple of pictures for you all later this afternoon… We’ll see how that goes. I don’t think I am supposed to, but you have to see how great the final color and finish is!
Maybe if this works out well more Limited Edition colors will be released…

Hi,
I would really like to see Grabber Orange. Worst case can you tell how much of red and yellow to mix together to obtain Grabber Orange.

Hi Patrick,
We actually already have an Ornage application available. It isn’t specifically formulated to replicate “Grabber Orange”… But it is pretty close.

The formula for Vista Blue has been received, and I believe the kits are currently in the production phase as we speak.

Hi, I have an 07 Windveil Blue Gt Conv and wanted to paint my brakes that color. Also do you have any idea where I can get heat resistant Mustang stickers/decals in white to apply over the painted brakes? Thanks

I answered this on another post as well. In case you missed it, here it is again.
HubcapsPlus.com has just placed an order today for the WindVeil Blue brake caliper paint.
I don’t believe they have it available for purchase on their site yet, but you can call them toll free at 1-888-482-2279 to place an order.
I believe it is running around $59.99 retail.
Unfortunately we don’t currently supply high temp graphics, although that may be something we look into.
If there is anything else I can do, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Just got an 08 in dark candy apple red. Any chance that color will be available for purchase?

I am intrested in purchasing a Vista Blue kit after I install a big brake upgrade but that will not happen for about a yr or so. These colors are advertised to be “limited edition” so i’m worried it would be discontinued soon. I would love to purchase the kit now but I remember reading the kit has only a 6mths shelve life. So my question would be how limited is the limited edition paint or when will it be no longer avaliable for purchase?
