Where can I purchase the Limited Edition Mustang Brake Caliper Paint Colors?

July 31st, 2007 by Bill - G2

I received an e-mail the other day from a customer and fellow Mustang enthusiast Shaun Beauchamp

“I would like to purchase the RedFire Caliper paint kit. I have a 2006 RedFire GT convertible and a 2006 Performance White GT coupe. I did the GT Coupe with a Black G2 Caliper kit and love it! I cannot find the order info on your website for the Redfire Kit.”

If you too are interested in any of the Limited Edition Mustang Brake Caliper Paint Colors they are now available for purchase at HubcapsPlus.com. They have agreed to carry the entire line of Limited Edition Mustang Brake Caliper Paint Colors, and have most colors available as retail kits now. You can call them toll free at 1-888-482-2279 with questions on availability and price, or please feel free to shoot me an e-mail at billh@g2usa.com and I’ll be glad to assist you.

Shaun was looking for the Mustang RedFire Brake Caliper paint kit because he is somewhat of a Mustang fanatic… In fact so much so he established a website Beauchamp Engineering, which is a non-biased resource for information regarding the 2005 - 2008 Ford Mustang GT.

Shaun spent numerous hours rifling through magazines, surfing the web, talking to dealers, going to car shows and just plain upsetting his wife. Through all of this he discovered that the only resources available for information on the 2005 - 2008 Ford Mustang GT try to sell you something. Claims that components are “better” and will provide the “best” performance gains truly do not give consumers the unbiased information necessary to make an educated purchase.

Due to his engineering background and computer/audio-visual resources, he decided to generate a publicly accessed site for individuals with questions and concerns about the new Mustang GT. The way Shaun figures it, if his out-of-pocket expenses are minimal and if the site actually saves someone time, energy, and a little cash - possibly all the agony his wife has endured will not have been fruitless! (I wonder if she agrees???)

Shaun has quite a few pictures of his Mustangs posted, including these shots of his 2006 Performance White GT coupe with G2 Black Brake Caliper Paint

I don’t know what his wife thinks… But I for one am glad he went through the effort… Go to his site Beauchamp Engineering and see what you think…

Picture perfect brake caliper paint application!

July 30th, 2007 by Bill - G2

Apparently I am not the only one who thinks that Brian Torok’s 2004 Lexus IS300 with Red G2 brake caliper paint is picture perfect!

The Passionate Pursuit, a website dedicated to covering the most up-to-date and interesting news and views on Lexus, Toyota’s luxury car marque recently published this “An Argument for Painted Brake Calipers” on their blog stating:

“Painted brake calipers are a nice enough touch, but they take on new significance when you see a photo like this” - referring to the photo seen below.

I couldn’t agree more!

G2 high temperature engine paint system set.

July 24th, 2007 by Bill - G2

G2 High Temperature Engine Paint System SetThere is no debate that our flag-ship product is definitely our brake caliper paint. However let’s not forget that we also offer the same famous paint we have for brake calipers in an engine painting kit as well!

The G2 Engine Paint Kit is suitable for use on racing engines and is heat resistant up to 950 degrees Farenheit just like our brake caliper paint. The high-gloss finish never fades, it self levels while painting, and it is chemical & wear resistant just like our brake caliper paint. The bottomline is our engine paint kit is the perfect way to dress up any engine compartment parts that don’t get hotter than 950 degrees Farenheit such as valve covers and engine trim.

The G2 Engine Paint Kit is the ideal, do-it-yourself alternative to expensive and labor intensive powdercoating. Our kit guarantees a great-looking, professional finish that will last the life of your car. Ease of cleaning, show-quality shine, and the satisfaction of doing it all yourself make our engine paint kit the best choice for engine compartment styling.

G2 High Temperature Engine Paint System Set

Best of all the G2 Engine Paint Kit is available in the same 11 high-gloss, wear-resistant standard colors as our brake caliper paint: Red, Yellow, Blue, Silver, Black, Purple, Green, White, Gold, Orange and Pink. Plus it can be purchased in Limited Edition Custom Ford Mustang colors such as Legend Lime, Vista Blue and Fire Red.

Have you used our engine paint on your vehicle? If so we’d love to see the results! Better yet we’d love to feature the results on our website as well as here on our blog.

Brian says:

The car is a work in progress, but mods to date are:

  • 18″ Katana ZR5 wheels, hyper black with a machined lip
  • Brembo rotors
  • G2 Red painted calipers with caliper stickers from MotoGFX.com
  • Window tint
  • KNN Fuel Injection Performance Kit, generation 2 intake
  • Tanabe Medallion Touring cat-back exhaust
  • Custom XM radio install
  • JL 12″ subwoofer and amp
  • Swift lowering springs
  • Clear side markers

All mods have been performed by myself (except for the tint). I had never worked on cars before I got the IS300. I’ve learned a lot from the online communities I belong to. Thanks to everyone from www.my.is and www.clublexus.com for your insight, instruction, and inspiration. Thanks also go out to Timothy Bui for taking those awesome pictures for me. More to come… I have a body kit in the mail, and will be doing some lighting mods in the future, as well as a complete audio system overhaul, and eventually forced induction.

Brian Torok can be contacted at:

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to share your ride Brian!
