Chris had this to say about our Limited Edition Vista Blue Brake Caliper Paint

“I’m tremendously pleased with the results and the g2 product that i purchased from you guys (at an incredible discount, i might add). my only regret is that i can’t get a better pic for you since the weather is so poor at the moment. this weekend is supposed to warm up, though, so i’ll try to get a wash in and take some better photos. but in the mean time, here are the pics…”

Applying G2 Engine paint.

G2 Engine Paint offers a brush on finish with no brush marks.

Bill,

Had the pleasure of using your G2 engine paint on our ’71 Dodge Challenger. I have attached a pic for you. The paint was everything you said it would be. Excellent coverage and beautiful shine.

We are very happy with the results. They are so good that my brother wants to do his ’56 Chevy with your paint.

Thanks for a great product!

Girls aren’t just looking for pink brake caliper paint…

November 28th, 2010 by BillH

Girls aren't just looking for pink brake caliper paint...Yesterday while sitting at a stop light this custom yellow Toyota Supra pulls up next to me complete with a G2 decal and yellow calipers peeking out from behind it’s chrome wheels… Sweet! I looked up to give the driver a nod of appreciation when the light turned green and she sped off… Leaving me to stare at her tail lights and think just how far girl racers have come.

It used to be the only women you would see in a car magazine were draped across the hood… Now entire features are dedicated to them. I get hundreds of e-mails and phone calls every month regarding specific application procedures, custom colors and overall application techniques and quite a few come from women. And they aren’t just asking about Pink & Purple Brake Caliper paint either!

Everywhere you look girl racer clubs are forming and forums are sprouting up… Girl racers are definitely carving out a spot in the traditionally male dominated industry. So don’t be surprised if the next time you are owned at a stop light if the face smiling back at you from the rear view is a woman’s…

Take it from me… Despite what you’ve been told. It would appear that girls really can drive.

As always if you have any questions or comments I’m always here to answer them, and I would love to see your results… You can submit installation pics to G2 here to be featured

Apparently I am not the only one who thinks that Brian Torok’s 2004 Lexus IS300 with Red G2 brake caliper paint is picture perfect!

The Passionate Pursuit, a website dedicated to covering the most up-to-date and interesting news and views on Lexus, Toyota’s luxury car marque recently published this “An Argument for Painted Brake Calipers” on their blog stating:

“Painted brake calipers are a nice enough touch, but they take on new significance when you see a photo like this”referring to the photo seen below.

Brian says:

The car is a work in progress, but mods to date are:

  • 18″ Katana ZR5 wheels, hyper black with a machined lip
  • Brembo rotors
  • G2 Red painted calipers with caliper stickers from MotoGFX.com
  • Window tint
  • KNN Fuel Injection Performance Kit, generation 2 intake
  • Tanabe Medallion Touring cat-back exhaust
  • Custom XM radio install
  • JL 12″ subwoofer and amp
  • Swift lowering springs
  • Clear side markers

All mods have been performed by myself (except for the tint). I had never worked on cars before I got the IS300. I’ve learned a lot from the online communities I belong to. Thanks to everyone from www.my.is and www.clublexus.com for your insight, instruction, and inspiration. Thanks also go out to Timothy Bui for taking those awesome pictures for me. More to come… I have a body kit in the mail, and will be doing some lighting mods in the future, as well as a complete audio system overhaul, and eventually forced induction.
