North American Tuning announced its own designed Mustang P-51™. Inspired by the legendary WWII fighter and intended as a tribute, North American Tuning’s P-51™ is a limited production model that receives a number of modifications including:

Exterior Styling: Modified front fascia with custom paint and P-51™ emblem, modified and functional hood, rear quarter side panel scoops, modified driver and passenger fenders, North American Tuning logo on rear quarter lower panel, modified rear spoiler, modified rear bumper, aftermarket 20 inch front and rear wheels, retro-style replacement painted mirrors.

Interior Styling: Billet A/C knob kit, billet mirror control bezel kit, aluminum map light accent trim, aluminum shoulder belt mount accent trim, aluminum door lock knob grommets, aluminum door lock knobs, aluminum manual shifter bezel and shift knob (for manual transmission), embroidered “P-51″ logo on seat head rest.

Engine Dress-Up: Custom P-51™ engine plenum cover, painted shock tower cover, painted radiator cover, painted radiator extension covers, painted fuse box cover and painted fuel rail covers.

Performance Modifications: 20HP Power upgrade pack (90mm cold air intake, performance air filter, performance exhaust muffler kit and computer tuner), performance handling pack (dampers, lowering springs, sway bars, strut tower brace).

Yesterday while sitting at a stop light this custom yellow Toyota Supra pulls up next to me complete with a G2 decal and yellow calipers peeking out from behind it’s chrome wheels… Sweet! I looked up to give the driver a nod of appreciation when the light turned green and she sped off… Leaving me to stare at her tail lights and think just how far girl racers have come.

It used to be the only women you would see in a car magazine were draped across the hood… Now entire features are dedicated to them. I get hundreds of e-mails and phone calls every month regarding specific application procedures, custom colors and overall application techniques and quite a few come from women. And they aren’t just asking about Pink & Purple Brake Caliper paint either!

Everywhere you look girl racer clubs are forming and forums are sprouting up… Girl racers are definitely carving out a spot in the traditionally male dominated industry. So don’t be surprised if the next time you are owned at a stop light if the face smiling back at you from the rear view is a woman’s…

Take it from me… Despite what you’ve been told. It would appear that girls really can drive.

Welcome to the new and improved G2 website and the inaugural G2 blog post!  Since we acquired G2 USA, I have been pushing to move G2 USA and it’s website from the internet dark ages into something a little more modern.  The previous website wasn’t quite doing the job. Most of the information was out-dated, and the site wasn’t particularly helpful.

In the past month, we’ve really turned the corner and today we’re launching the new blog.  I hope you’ll agree it’s a big improvement.  It allows the end-users of our products to interact with us, to let us know what they like, or don’t like about our products, and how we can make them better.  I can’t wait to see the comments and feedback from the you all through the comments on the blog.  I’ll read them regularly, as will everyone here at G2, so please keep the feedback coming.

One of the exciting new features we’re inaugurating today is the ability to deliver new kinds of content to you.  The blog will be a way for us to share cool multimedia content, including pictures and video clips of your rides! This way you can see what other users of G2 products are doing to their rides… And show off your own!

We will be regularly posting articles and announcements ranging from how to’s and tips, to special sales and appearances by our staff. Hopefully this will then act as an informative resource both for our existing dealers and all of our end-users.

So be sure to check back often and feel free to get in touch if you want to discuss any of the articles further.
