Representatives from G2 USA, Inc., attended The 2006 SEMA Show which took place Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center. SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association founded in 1963, represents the $31 billion specialty automotive industry of 6,466 member-companies. It is the authoritative source for research, data, trends and market growth information for the specialty auto parts industry.
While there, we were offered the chance to view the Dodge Challenger Super Stock 392 HEMI during a Hot Rod Magazine photo shoot. The Challenger Super Stock concept was created to commemorate the legendary 392 HEMI that was first introduced in 1957 along with featuring the new 392 HEMI crate motor that Mopar unveiled at the 2006 SEMA Show.
Mopar is launching an all-new 392 HEMI crate motor, built with all new components and delivering 525 horsepower in its most potent form.
Three different versions of the new 392 are available:
- P5153604 392 HEMI Crate Engine – Carbureted, 540 horsepower and 490 lb.-ft of torque
- P5253605 392 HEMI Crate Engine – SEFI, 525 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque
- P5153603 392 HEMI Long Block HEMI Crate Engine
Of course we had to take some pictures ourselves, and of course we just had to share them with you here:
